Truly the trip of a lifetime! Exploring the Kimberley coastline between Broome and Darwin, expedition style.

In early 2021, myself and my agency's director, Kate, hosted a group of our clients on a 10-night cruise aboard the stunning Kimberley Quest II.
It is no wonder this amazing region is described as one of the world's last wilderness frontiers! We saw so much its hard to put it into words, but here are just a few of the incredible experiences:
Viewing ancient rock art
Swimming in freshwater holes
Showering under stunning waterfalls
Seeing an array of historical sites
Witnessing a myriad of Kimberley wildlife
Fishing for the elusive barramundi
The highlight of the trip for me was the Powerboat ride through Horizontal Falls! We were lucky to be travelling at the beginning of the season, so there were very few tourists and lots of water around after the wet season.
The Kimberley Quest staff also made the trip unforgettable! Very personable, they went out of their way to ensure all guests had the experience of a lifetime. The Chef was magnificent - the best food you could possibly imagine! You would think you were sitting in a Michelin-star restaurant, not on a vessel in the ocean!
I would recommend this voyage to all ages, especially to those between 30 and 70 years old. You do need to have a basic level of fitness to be able to do some walking on the day tours, and possibly over and under some rocks! As always, it's important to talk to your travel professional to ensure the trip is right for you, to help match up the right vessel and itinerary to suit your dream holiday needs.
If there is any doubt in your mind about adding a Kimberley cruise to your bucket list, I'll just leave this video here for you to get a taste of what is in store for you!
